About Our Training Programs
Delain Law Office, PLLC, with offices in the historic Stockade district of Schenectady, New York, operates, as a subsidiary to its law practice, a training division operated by Registered Patent Attorney Nancy Baum Delain.
Nancy provides participants with both up-to-date legal knowledge and a practical and lucid approach to what can be very esoteric material.
Three courses are currently offered:
- Patents for Inexperienced Inventors
- Patents for Experienced Inventors
- Patent Practice and Bar Review for second-semester college seniors and graduate students with a background in a hard science or engineering discipline. This course is eligible for college or graduate school credit. If s/he is eligible to sit for the patent bar, the student may elect to take the patent bar itself in lieu of the course’s final exam.
